Jake Elswick

Jake Elswick is currently the Vice President of Enrollment and Student Experience at Doane University. Jake previously served as the Recruitment Manager for the Office of Admissions at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and before that as a Study Abroad Advisor at Nebraska Wesleyan University.

Jake has been with Doane since 2016, and in that time they have overseen the merging of the Enrollment Services and Student Affairs divisions into the Division of Enrollment and Student Experience. Jake has also led enterprise efforts including Fall 2020 return to campus task force, overhaul of recruitment strategies (lead generation, conversion and yield), optimization of financial aid modeling and retention planning framework to improve student experiences, affinity and outcomes.

Jake Elswick holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a BA in Political Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University. Jake is also certified from IDI, LLC in Intercultural Development Inventory and is a Qualified Administrator.

Jake Elswick reports to Jacque Carter, President. Some individuals on their team include Lauren Erickson - Director of Enrollment Services, Kyle McMurray - Director of Admission. Jake Elswick works with Roger Hughes - President, Anne Ziola - Director of Human Resources, and Cali Biaggi - Online Learning & Student Services Librarian.
