Vernal Della-Piana

Strategic Client Coordinator at Doba Inc.

Vernal Della-Piana has a strong background in consulting and change management, with a range of roles and experiences throughout their career. They began as an Executive Assistant for United States Senator Jake Garn in 1975, before moving on to become a Chief Change Agent at Rockwell Intl. in 1988. In this role, they successfully led change efforts to improve productivity and profitability.

In 1991, Della-Piana joined Novations Group Inc. as a Partner for 8 years, where they contributed to various consulting projects. They went on to work at Provant, Inc. as a Senior Consultant from 1999 to 2001, where they managed high-impact organization change projects and led the strategy integration of 12 companies into a single strategic unit.

In 2001, Della-Piana founded Blackstar Associates Consulting and served as the Founder and President for 15 years. They focused on bringing proven consulting resources to companies facing growth and profitability challenges, and developed a proprietary executive coaching methodology and 360 surveys. They also co-founded the 1point0 Consulting Network, which allowed small consulting entities to compete globally.

Most recently, Della-Piana worked as a Strategic Client Coordinator at Doba.com since 2011. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in driving change, managing consulting projects, and providing strategic guidance to companies.

Vernal Della-Piana pursued a Master's Degree in Organizational Behavior from Brigham Young University between 1987 and 1989. Prior to that, from 1969 to 1976, they obtained a degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from the University of Utah.
