Kimi Lewis has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Kimi started their career in 1995 as a Utility Line Locator at SM&P Utility Location and then worked as a Project Coordinator at NorAm Gas Location. Kimi joined Cox Communications in 1999 as an Engineer II, where they were responsible for designing communication lines and managing projects. Kimi also gained experience in the insurance industry, working as a Licensed Sales Agent at The Hartford from 2003 to 2009, where they focused on home and auto policies. In 2015, they transitioned to the telecommunications field and worked as an ASE Fiber Optic Field Engineer at GW Communications. Kimi further expanded their telecom experience at CHC Consulting, LLC as an Engineer I and Field Engineer II. From 2019 to 2020, Kimi worked as an Outside Plant Engineer at draftPros. Kimi then joined Trans-Tel Central LLC as a Utility and Permits Coordinator and later became a Lead Investigator and Claims Supervisor. In 2012, they started their own business, Secure Process Service & Consulting LLC dba KL TelcoTek, offering process service for court paperwork and telecommunications consulting and engineering services. Currently, Kimi is working as an OSP Engineer at Dobson Fiber since 2023.
Kimi Lewis earned a Bachelor's degree in BLS from the University of Oklahoma between 1986 and 2003. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including a Certificate of Limited Liability Company from the Office of the Secretary of State State of Oklahoma in July 2019, Aramis-DT certification from AT&T University in April 2019, OSHA 30 certification from the City of Oklahoma City in August 2011, Confined Space Entry certification from OSHA Courses in June 2011, STATE WIDE LICENSED PROCESS SERVER certification from the District Court of Oklahoma county of Moore in September 1995, and DEQ WATER AND WASTEWATER certification from the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality in June 2011.
