Founded in 2020 by Hélène Nguyen-Ban, a passionate collector and former gallerist with a decade of experience in luxury at LVMH, and Mathieu Rosenbaum, a researcher and professor of Applied Mathematics at École Polytechnique, Docent is an art-tech startup at the intersection of art and artificial intelligence. Forging an alliance between AI experts and art historians, Docent pioneers a new era in art discovery. We developed proprietary algorithms using machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing, to curate bespoke recommendations of contemporary art. This advanced technology not only discerns artistic nuances and collector preferences but also ensures that partner galleries offer artworks of unmatched quality and significance.
