Daniel Yutaka Shimizu has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software development and support. Daniel started their career at STI - UNESP as a Software Developer from July 2008 to December 2009. Later, they worked as a Software Developer at On3W - Produtora Web from September 2009 to April 2011. From April 2011 to December 2014, they worked at Atos Consulting as a Systems Analyst. Following that, they joined LATAM Airlines as an Analista de Suporte a Aplicação from November 2014 to July 2020. In this role, their responsibilities included resolving incidents in production, analyzing systemic problems, and leading project teams. Currently, they are employed at Dock as a Software Support Lead since January 2022.

Daniel Yutaka Shimizu attended Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained their degree in Ciências da Computação (Computer Science). In addition to their formal education, they have also received certifications including the Kanban Foundation KIKF from CertiProf in November 2020 and the Scrum Foundation Certificate from CertiProf in August 2020.
