Renan Valente

Renan Valente has over 10 years of experience in software engineering and development. Renan is currently employed as a Software Engineer II at Dock since June 2021. Before that, Renan worked at Grupo Itec as a Full-Stack Software Engineer III, responsible for developing technological solutions for customers using PHP, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL. Renan also worked at Colégio Recanto as a Full Stack Developer Analyst, where they developed and supported the school's proprietary ERP system and handled employee points using PHP, NodeJS, and AWS infrastructure. Renan has experience working with agile methodology in creating new ERP systems and gathering requirements at CIPA - Participações e Administração S/A. Renan also taught computing at Master Curso Idiomas e Informática and worked as a Systems Analyst at Casa de Saúde Nossa Senhora do Carmo.

Renan Valente's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Escola Tecnica do Rio de Janeiro - ETERJ and obtained a degree as an Industrial IT Technician in Computing in 2008. Renan then pursued further education at Universidade da Cidade do Rio de Janeiro from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a degree in Analysis and Systems Development in the field of Information Technology. In 2017, Renan enrolled in PUC Minas and completed a Postgraduate degree in Software Engineering in 2018.
