Sergio Arbeo

Sergio Arbeo is an engineer at DockYard. Sergio was previously a lead engineer at Platform Team at source{d} from November 2016 to August 2017. Prior to that, they were responsable for Comisión de Formación at ConectaLAB from February 2014 to June 2014. Sergio has also taught Ruby on Rails at Ironhack on three occasions: from November 2014 to November 2014, from March 2014 to April 2014, and from November 2013 to December 2013. Sergio began their career as a programmer at Universidad Pública de Navarra in September 2012 and then worked as a backend and frontend programmer at CodeCantor from May 2012 to December 2016. Sergio also collaborated on a research project at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from December 2011 to May 2012 before working as a programmer at Indra from October 2010 to September 2011.

Sergio Arbeo earned their Doctorado en Ciencias Matemáticas from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Sergio also holds a Máster en Tratamiento Estadístico y Computacional de la Información from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, as well as a Licenciatura en Ciencias Matemáticas from the same school. In addition, Sergio Arbeo has a CC. Matemáticas from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, and they also hold two degrees from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya: a Grado en Administración y Dirección de Empresas and a Grado en Derecho.

They are on a team with Marten Schilstra - Engineer, Alexandre Xavier - Engineer, and Chris Houhoulis - Engineer. Sergio Arbeo reports to Estelle DeBlois, Director of Engineering.
