Tim Jansen has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Tim started their career in 2004 as a Warehouse Assistant and Cashier at Bouwmaat, where they handled tasks such as cleaning, replenishing supplies, and providing assistance to customers. In 2005, they completed a work placement in marketing campaign for satellite dishes at Ralectro.
From 2006 to 2012, Tim worked as a Company Accountant on a sideline at Jatec, a small international company in the steel sector. Their responsibilities included carrying out administrative tasks, processing value-added tax (VAT), and financial reporting on a quarterly basis.
In 2007, they completed a work placement at epi ltd. as a Junior Consultant. During this time, they analyzed customers' processes to increase efficiency, developed manuals for consultancy software, expanded the company's knowledgebase database, and wrote articles on OJEU tendering. Tim also formulated the company's Disaster Recovery Plan.
Tim then worked on a freelance basis as a Consultant from 2010 to 2011, where they provided consulting services. Tim also held multiple roles at DSM via Yacht from 2010 to 2013, including SSC Back Office Coordinator, SPOC (Single Point of Contact), and Project Support Officer. In these positions, they were responsible for tasks such as setting up and managing the general ledger back office, carrying out accounting-to-report services, and supporting project administration.
From 2011 to 2013, Tim worked as an Interim Professional Finance at Yacht, where they provided finance-related services.
In 2013, they joined DocMorris as Supervisor Accounts Receivable and later took on the roles of Head of Finance Operations and Head of Accounting. In these positions, they were responsible for various finance-related tasks.
Most recently, Tim joined DynaGroup in 2019 as a Finance Manager.
Tim Jansen attended Gilde Opleidingen from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a degree in Marketing at MBO level 4. Tim continued their education at Zuyd Hogeschool from 2006 to 2009, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Economics. In 2009, Tim pursued a Pre-master program in International Business at Zuyd Hogeschool. Additionally, they attended Maastricht University in 2009 and 2010, completing a Master's degree in International Business Finance.
