Katharine K. Zarrella

Katharine K. Zarrella is a seasoned fashion critic and journalist, currently serving as a Fashion Critic at Large for Document Journal since April 2024. Zarrella holds teaching positions as an Associate Lecturer at Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London, and as a Part-Time Lecturer at Parsons School of Design since 2018 and 2019, respectively. With extensive freelance experience as a Fashion Journalist, Editor, and Critic since 2008, Zarrella previously worked as Fashion Director for Off Duty at The Wall Street Journal and as Founder and Editor-in-Chief for Fashion Unfiltered. Other notable roles include Senior Editor at V Magazine, Contributor at Dazed & Confused, and News Editor at Style.com. Zarrella earned an MA in Fashion Journalism from Central Saint Martins and a Bachelor of Arts in English, Art, and Art History from Colgate University.
