Nevena Toneva

Nevena Toneva has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

In 2014, Nevena started their career as a Work & Travel Hostess at Capt'n Jack's Island Grill in NJ, USA. Nevena then moved on to Nevena Promotions and Events, where they worked as a BTL Supervisor and Account Manager from 2014 to 2016.

In 2016, Nevena joined VP Brands International as an Assistant to the Marketing Director, and later that year, they also took on the role of Assistant Sales Manager/Sales & Business Development at Alta Ltd.

Nevena's experience expanded further in 2017 when they became an Account Executive at Saatchi & Saatchi. Nevena progressed to the position of Account Manager in 2019 and then to Account Director in 2020, where they stayed until 2021.

From 2021 to 2023, Nevena worked as the Deputy CMO, TBI Buy at tbi bank. In this role, they built and grew the marketing team while creating processes in a start-up environment. Nevena was responsible for owning the go-to-market strategy, collaborating with the development team, and defining and measuring the performance of marketing channels and campaigns.

Nevena's most recent role is as a Marketing Manager at Docyt, starting in 2023.

Nevena Toneva completed their education in a chronological manner. Nevena first attended the University of National and World Economy from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management. After that, they pursued further education at VUZF University from 2016 to 2017, participating in the Master Degree program offered by ARC Academy. Their focus during this program was on Advertising, Innovative Marketing, and Brand Management.

In addition to their formal education, Nevena has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. These certifications include being Email Marketing Certified by HubSpot in January 2023, attaining an SEO & Analytics Certificate from Software University (softuni.bg) in September 2020, and receiving a Commercial Certificate from the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) in 2020. Nevena also holds a Google Digital Garage Certificate and a Google Analytics for beginners certificate, both obtained in 2020. Furthermore, Nevena possesses a Cannes Lions Sample Course Certificate from the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, although the specific date of obtaining it is not provided.
