Melissa Vice currently serves as the Director of the DoD Vulnerability Disclosure Program at the DoD Cyber Crime Center since October 2019, facilitating the management of reported vulnerabilities across all publicly accessible DoD information systems. Additionally, Melissa holds the position of Interim Director of the Vulnerability Disclosure Program and Chief Operations Officer at the National Security Institute, as well as a Fellow at Project Everest. Prior roles include Chief Technology Officer at the United States Air Force, where responsibilities included developing hybrid cloud migration strategies for over 400 Air Force information systems, and Senior Information Technology Specialist at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency. Earlier career experience encompasses work as a Global Database Developer Administrator at GE Aerospace and as the Owner of a national computer training company, specializing in various technology and programming disciplines. Melissa's education includes a Master's degree in Joint Warfighting from USAF Air Command and Staff College and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
