Kevin Mitchell

Kevin Mitchell has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Kevin began their career in 2005 as a Game Developer at Eurocom and later worked as a Freelance Software Developer, where they developed mobile apps, games, and web services. In 2008, they joined IBM United Kingdom Ltd as an SAP Consultant. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer at the BBC, followed by a role as Lead UX Developer at Hermes in 2016, where they built and improved features for their websites. Kevin then transitioned to a Senior Software Engineer role at the BBC from 2016 to 2018. In 2019, they worked in the Children's department of the BBC, creating HTML apps for kids. Kevin joined ITV as a Developer in 2020 before moving to their current role as Principal Software Engineer at Doddle in 2021. Prior to their current role, they served as the Vice President of Engineering at Doddle starting in September 2022. Kevin's experience includes a wide range of technologies such as Angular, JQuery, HTML, Sass, ES6, Pixi.js, and Chart.js.

Kevin Mitchell attended The University of Sheffield from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (MComp).
