Robert Thompson

Robert Thompson is an experienced financial professional with a diverse background in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Secretary for the Cavalla Historical Foundation since November 2009 and a Board Director at United Way of the Bay Area since June 2008, Thompson has contributed significantly to finance initiatives as a member of the Finance Advisory Committee for the City of Orinda and as Vice President and Board Director of the Bay Area Financial Education Foundation, established in 2007. Additional roles include being a member of the Investment Committee for the Girl Scouts of Northern California and holding the position of Portfolio Manager at Dodge & Cox since July 1992. Thompson's leadership experience is further highlighted by past roles, including Senior Warden at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church and Past President of the CFA Society of San Francisco.
