Ali Barkiyer

Ali Barkiyer has a diverse work experience in various roles related to Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing. Ali started their career as a Software Developer at Duba Elektronik, where they worked on projects such as the Travers System Project and the Fast Print Project. Ali then moved on to work as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Turkcell, where they were involved in the Interconnect Project. After that, they worked at i2i Systems and Doğuş Teknoloji as a Business Intelligence Consultant. In 2015, they joined Türk Telekom as a Business Intelligence Consultant and worked on the Common Premium Project. Ali returned to Doğuş Teknoloji in 2016 and took on roles such as Senior Business Specialist, Principal BI&DWH Specialist, and currently serves as the Business Intelligence & DWH Manager. Ali'sresponsibilities include managing Data Teams, overseeing the implementation of Data Warehouses, and analyzing and implementing Business Intelligence solutions for clients. Ali has also worked on various projects with well-known local and international companies in various industries such as automotive, entertainment, insurance, fintech, finance, technology, and hospitality. Throughout their career, Ali Barkiyer has demonstrated strong expertise in Data Team Management, Data Warehousing, ETL, and Business Intelligence tools.

Ali Barkiyer is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Engineering at İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesi. Ali began their PhD studies in 2018 and is expected to complete their degree in the future. Prior to this, from 2008 to 2013, Ali obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Sakarya University. Ali'seducational background has primarily focused on the field of Computer Engineering.
