Emily Jones

Emily Jones is currently a Digital Media Specialist at Dogwood Media Solutions, LLC. Emily has previously worked as a Social Site Coordinator at WIRED MINISTRIES INC and as a Sales Associate at Eagle Eye Outfitters Inc.

Emily has always had a passion for social media and marketing. Emily first realized this when they were in charge of their high school's social media accounts. From there, they knew that they wanted to pursue a career in digital media.

After graduating from college, Emily took their first steps into the professional world as a Sales Associate. While they enjoyed the work, they knew that it wasn't their true passion. Emily eventually found their way to WIRED MINISTRIES INC, where they worked as a Social Site Coordinator. It was here that Emily found their calling and honed their skills as a digital media specialist.

In October 2019, Emily took a position as a Digital Media Specialist at Dogwood Media Solutions, LLC. Emily has been with the company ever since and has loved every minute of it. In their role, Emily is responsible for creating detailed and well thought out social media strategies for clients of all kinds. This includes figuring out their goals, voice, target audience and purpose and creating a digital marketing plan specifically for them.

Emily is also responsible for designing and building engaging content to be shared, strategically planning out multiple months worth of social media content, conducting website updates including working with Wordpress sites, creating and maintaining Facebook and Google ads, designing and conducting presentations for interested groups and organizations on digital media marketing, aiding in event management for clients, producing topic ideas and writing blog posts for clients and for an online magazine publication, and assisting with public relations needs of clients.

Emily Jones is a communication studies major with a focus on public relations from Troy University.

Their manager is Lauren Cumbie, Digital Media Manager. Emily Jones works with Savanna Pruitt - Digital Media Specialist, Sara Kate Taylor - Digital Media Specialist, and Beth Gillem - SEO Specialist.
