Hiroaki Takahashi

Hiroaki Takahashi is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in audio and video system design. Currently serving as a Sr. Applications Engineer at Dolby Laboratories since May 2009, Takahashi previously held positions at SanDisk Corporation as a Staff Systems Audio/Video Engineer, United Chemi-Con Inc. as an Application Engineering Manager, and PortalPlayer, Inc. as an Application Engineer, where significant contributions included the design of the first generation Apple iPod. Earlier roles in firmware and hardware engineering were with Tellus Technology Inc., Kenwood Technologies Inc., and Sony Corporation, where expertise in audio technology and system compatibility was developed. Takahashi earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tokyo Metropolitan University.
