Sarah Turrell has extensive experience in the food industry, with a focus on food safety and quality management. Sarah has held various leadership positions, including Director of Quality Management and Performance Improvement at Dole Sunshine Company since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Food Safety and Quality at Revolution Foods from 2021 to 2023, where they were responsible for implementing a global FSQA program and driving a FSQA culture within the organization. Sarah also worked as the VP of Food Safety and Quality at FreshRealm in 2021 and as the Director of Food Safety and Quality at BAKKAVOR USA from 2017 to 2020, where they set up a new food manufacturing facility and managed food safety initiatives. Earlier in their career, Sarah served as the Head of Food Safety and Quality at Bakkavor North America and Technical Manager at Bakkavor, where they played a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer standards and managing the food safety and quality departments. Sarah started their career as a Technical Manager at Hotel Chocolat, where they implemented quality management systems and managed food safety and technical issues.
Sarah Turrell studied Biological and Biomedical Sciences at the University of the West of England, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree.
