Kyrstyn Ransom

Kyrstyn Ransom is an experienced professional in the field of special needs support and care, currently serving as the Special Needs Coordinator at Dolphin Research Center since September 2017. In addition to this role, Kyrstyn has worked as a Family Managed Employee at both The Moore Center and Gateways Community Services since September 2016 and January 2016, respectively, where responsibilities include designing behavior plans and enhancing the quality of life for adults and children with special needs. Kyrstyn has also been a Direct Support Professional at Community Bridges since October 2016, providing individualized support for children diagnosed with autism. Previous roles include an internship at Dolphin Research Center focusing on animal care and a lengthy tenure at Smugglers' Notch Resort as a SNAP Counselor and Head Lifeguard. Kyrstyn holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Marine Biology, Biology, and Outdoor Recreation from the University of Maine at Machias, completed in 2015.
