Rachel Pittman

Rachel Pittman is a dedicated behavioral specialist at YMCA Camp Sloper, where individualized behavior plans are developed for campers with developmental differences and trauma. Rachel has extensive experience in facilitating engaging educational experiences, including leading creative writing workshops for middle school students through Uncommon Good and mentoring in inclusive settings. As a research assistant at both Pomona College and Claremont Autism Center, Rachel participates in significant academic studies related to early modern poetry and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Previous roles include managing editor for The Choate News, where leadership and organizational skills were honed in a collaborative environment. Rachel is currently pursuing a degree at Pomona College, building on a solid educational foundation from Choate Rosemary Hall and various specialized writing programs.
