Laurent Sabbagh, Ph.D. has over 15 years of experience in the field of research and development. In 2020, they joined Domain Therapeutics as Scientific Director R&D and Head of Biology (North America), Associate Director R&D. From 2019 to 2020, they were an Affiliated Associate Professor at Concordia University. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Principal Scientist, Biological Sciences at Paraza Pharma Inc. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Research Scientist II and Project Lead at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where they led the effort to identify biomarkers and developed and validated cellular assays. From 2010 to 2013, they were an Adjunct Professor and Assistant Professor at Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al, where they focused on the role of TNF receptor signaling in the survival of lymphocytes and their contribution to immunological memory, inflammation (IBD and RA) and hematological malignancies. From 2008 to 2010, they were a Part-time faculty - Immunology at Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, teaching the full basic immunology course to 1st year students. From 2005 to 2008, they were a The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Special Fellow and Postdoctoral fellow at University of Toronto, Department of Immunology. From 2003 to 2005, they were a Postodoctoral fellow at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, investigating signaling pathways during T cell development.

Laurent Sabbagh, Ph.D. completed their B.Sc. in Biochemistry at McGill University from 1993 to 1996. Laurent then pursued their M.Sc. in Microbiology at Université Laval from 1996 to 1998. Finally, they earned their Ph.D. in Immunology from McGill University from 1998 to 2003.
