Sylvie Ryckebusch

Sylvie Ryckebusch has a long and varied work experience. Sylvie began their career in 1995 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Business School. In 1996, they became an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. In 2008, they were a Senior Advisor and Resident CEO at Index Ventures, crafting the strategy and business plan for a new biotechnology company. From 2013 to 2018, they were the Founder of Octave Biotech Consulting and Chief Business Officer at EspeRare foundation. In 2018, they became a Non-Executive Director of the Board at DOMAIN Therapeutics and a Member of Executive Finance Committee at International Brain Research Organization. In 2020, they became an Adjunct Professor at Grenoble Ecole de Management and Chief Business Officer at BioInvent International AB.

Sylvie Ryckebusch received their B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Maryland in 1987. Sylvie then went on to pursue a PhD in Neurobiology at Caltech, which they completed in 1994.
