Crisis Intervention Volunteer at DAIS (Domestic Abuse Intervention Services)

Claudia Biebel is currently a Nursing Assistant on the Trauma and Life Support (TLC) Unit at UW Health and serves as Co-Director of the Village Health Project, a nonprofit focused on improving sanitation and nutrition in Lweza, Uganda. Claudia is actively engaged in research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Department of Nutritional Sciences through a Cargill/Benevenga Undergraduate Research Fellowship. Additional roles include Crisis Intervention Volunteer at DAIS, Exam Proctor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Testing and Evaluations, and a Volunteer at The Women's Center. Previous experience includes a summer internship at Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, and a sales associate position at Sierra. Claudia is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, along with certificates in Global Health and Disability Rights and Services at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, following a high school diploma from Pewaukee High School.
