Kelly Robertson possesses extensive experience in grant writing and development coordination, currently serving as a Grant Writer for the City of Bridgeport Connecticut since 2018 and as Development Coordinator for the Domestic Violence Crisis Center since September 2016. Previously, Kelly was the Coordinator of the Disaster Case Management Program at The Salvation Army, where responsibilities included establishing the program, staffing, training, and developing necessary documentation for audits. Between 1992 and 2013, Kelly worked as a self-employed psychotherapist and educator, while also serving as a trainer and independent consultant for the Anti-Defamation League, focusing on diversity training and business development. From 2000 to 2007, Kelly held the position of Assistant Director of Human Resources for the Town of Greenwich, where responsibilities included implementing EEO policies and Affirmative Action plans. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Clinical Psychology from Duquesne University and a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from CA Graduate Institute.

Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC)

Since 1980, Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC) has provided counseling and advocacy services for victims of domestic violence and their children. DVCC is the only state-certified agency recognized by the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CCADV) serving the communities of Norwalk, Stamford, New Canaan, Darien, Westport, Weston and Wilton.   DVCC’s role is to help those experiencing any level of domestic violence and assist them in building a safer environment for the well-being of themselves and their families. Our services include housing and financial advocacy; legal advocacy; trauma-informed individual and group counseling; and emergency safe housing. All victim services are free and confidential, and all services offered are multicultural/multilingual.
