COO Lovesharing at Domingo Alonso Group

David Formoso has a diverse work experience in various industries. David started their career in 2014 as a Service Intern at ULPGC, where they provided orientation and advice to incoming and outgoing students for exchange programs. David later worked in the Service of Publication and Scientific Diffusion at ULPGC, where they facilitated the exchange of editorial production with other institutions to promote the university's library.

In 2015, they joined Domingo Alonso Group as a Sales Planning & Business Support, responsible for ensuring that vehicles were strategically placed and tracking monthly objectives. David then transitioned to the role of Product Manager for ŠKODA, adapting the brand's models to meet customer preferences. David later became a Senior Product Manager for Volkswagen, where they contributed to the brand's market leadership and implemented strategies to make each model a leader in its segment. David also served as the Responsible for Electric Mobility at DAG, working on developing a common strategy to promote electric mobility products within the group's brands.

In 2021, David took on the role of COO Lovesharing at Domingo Alonso Group, leading the first motosharing service in the Canary Islands and achieving significant growth in trips and users. Most recently, they have been appointed as the COO AVIS Corporate at Avis Canarias, where they are involved in the development of a 100% digital car rental solution for corporate clients.

In addition to their automotive experience, David also worked as an Administrator at Libunca 2002, where they analyzed and implemented investment projects, particularly focused on expanding the company's self-storage units.

David Formoso has a diverse education history. In 2018, they attended The Valley Digital Business School for the Programa de Alta Dirección en Digital Business (PADDB). Prior to that, from 2009 to 2014, they obtained a Licenciatura en Administración y Dirección de Empresas with a specialization in Empresas Internacionales from the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In 2012 to 2013, they studied at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.). Their education journey began with the International Baccalaureate at Colegio Arenas from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained the Bachillerato Internacional. In addition to their formal education, David has also obtained various certifications, including Consultor de Innovación from ULPGC (Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) in 2017, Analítica Web from EOI Escuela de Organización Industrial in 2016, Leadership Development from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2013, and Bachillerato Internacional from Colegio Arenas in 2007.
