Provincial Director Of Health Services at Dominican Friars | Province of the Most Holy Name of Jesus

Dr. Veronica Ruffin-Ellis, DNP, MSN Ed, RN has a diverse work experience. Dr. Veronica is currently a member of the Greater New York City - Black Nurses Association. Previously, they served as the Provincial Director of Health Services for the Dominican Friars | Province of St. Joseph. Dr. Veronica has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Mercy College and as a Care Manager at HealthSense. Dr. Ruffin-Ellis has been a member of various nursing organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the American Nurses Association. Dr. Veronica has also worked as a Nurse Consultant at Affiliated Physicians, as an Adjunct Faculty at The College of New Rochelle, as the Director of Staff Development at Archcare, and as a Clinical Nurse Manager at New York Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital.

Dr. Veronica Ruffin-Ellis, DNP, MSN Ed, RN pursued their education in a chronological order that first began in 2005 and concluded in 2017. Dr. Veronica attended The College of New Rochelle for five years, from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Science in Nursing Education (MSN, Ed., RN). Following this, they enrolled at Walden University in 2012 and completed their studies in 2017, earning a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with a focus on Nursing.
