Jan Strickland, MBA

Jan Strickland, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jan started their career in 1989 as a Display Advertising Sales Representative at The News & Observer Publishing Company. In 1992, they joined GSK, where they held multiple positions, including Sales Representative, Marketing Research Analyst, Sr. Computer Graphics Manager, Computer Graphic Artist, and Administrative Specialist. During their time at GSK, Jan demonstrated their ability to exceed product goals and quotas, analyze sales trends, and adjust business strategies. Jan also collaborated with various teams to develop product and market development strategies. In 2008, they joined Ameritox as a Senior Sales Representative/Sales Consultant, where they exceeded product goals and worked as an account manager. In their current role as a Regional Sales Executive at Dominion Diagnostics since 2016, Jan has implement plans to increase growth and customer satisfaction, sourced new clients to improve margin, and brought in new business to increase revenue.

Jan Strickland earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Global Management from the University of Phoenix, which was completed from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from Meredith College, attending from 1984 to 1988. Additionally, in February 2014, Jan attained a certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant. The institution from which they obtained this certification is unknown.
