Paul Shanks

Paul Shanks is a seasoned communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Since February 2016, Paul has held multiple managerial positions at Dominion Energy, including Manager of Advertising and Marketing and Manager of Digital Communications and Marketing. Additionally, Paul serves as a board member for both the Virginia Public Access Project and SocialMedia.org. Notably, Paul was recognized as the "2015 Person of the Year" by the Richmond Times-Dispatch for contributions to the success of the 2015 UCI Road World Cycling Championships while serving as Director of Communication & Marketing for Richmond 2015, Inc. Prior roles include Deputy Director of Communications for the Office of the Governor of Virginia and Assistant Vice President at McGuireWoods Consulting, LLC. Paul holds a degree in Liberal Arts from Thomas Edison State University, having previously attended Bryan College.
