Raúl Picón

Raúl Picón has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT risk management. Raúl is currently serving as the Head of Cybersecurity at Domo Chemicals since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at CaixaBank in multiple roles including IT & Business Continuity Director from February 2022 to October 2022, IT & Security & Fraud Risk Director from February 2021 to February 2022, and IT & Security & Outsourcing Risk Responsible from June 2018 to February 2021. Raúl also gained valuable experience at EY, where they worked as an IT Risk & Security & Business Continuity Manager from July 2016 to June 2018 and as a Senior Information Security Consultant from June 2012 to July 2016. Before that, they worked as an Analyst Programmer at ABSIS from March 2010 to May 2011 and at EPISER SL from March 2008 to February 2010.

Raúl Picón has a diverse educational background focused on IT management and telecommunications. In 2005, they enrolled at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and completed a degree in Technical Telecommunications, specializing in Sound and Image in 2008. Following this, they pursued further education at the UPC School of Professional & Executive Development from 2008 to 2009, obtaining a Postgraduate degree in Management Skills for Technical Professionals in Organizations. In 2009, Raúl attended La Salle Bcn for a one-year Master's program in IT Management. Their education also includes several additional certifications such as CISA and CISM from ISACA, as well as ISO 22301 Lead Auditor - Business Continuity and ITIL V3 Foundation certifications from other institutions.
