Ashley Pennewell, PMP®, has a diverse work experience spanning across different industries. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Building Supervisor at UC Irvine, overseeing an indoor recreation center and managing all visitors and patrons. Ashley also served as an intern in the Marketing & Events department, working on various health and wellness workshops and events for university employees.
In 2014, Ashley joined American Campus Communities as a Community Assistant, where they organized and executed life management and academic programs for college residents. Ashley also acted as a leasing agent, providing property tours to potential leaseholders.
Later in 2014, Ashley joined Executives Unlimited, Inc. and held multiple roles, including Client Account Coordinator and Marketing Administrator. In these positions, they played a hands-on role throughout the executive search process, managing client and candidate interactions, as well as website management and digital marketing campaigns.
From 2016 to 2018, Ashley served as the Director of Marketing & Business Development at Executives Unlimited, Inc. In this role, they identified and pursued B2B opportunities, developed client relationships, and implemented marketing strategies.
In 2018, Ashley joined Park City Institute as part of their Marketing Communications team, where they created and managed newsletters, online marketing campaigns, and social media posts. Ashley also worked as an Event Manager, assisting in concert planning, marketing campaigns, and managing sponsor check-ins.
Since 2019, Ashley has been working at Domo, Inc. Ashley started as a Program Manager, then transitioned to Creative Project Manager, and eventually became an Integrated Marketing Campaign & Project Manager. In their current role, they manage programs and projects, as well as integrates new software platforms. Ashley also played a key role in managing Domo's first halo/brand campaign, collaborating with various teams to spread the message of "Modern BI for All."
Throughout their career, Ashley has demonstrated strong project management skills, as evidenced by their PMP® certification.
Ashley Pennewell, PMP®, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cognitive Psychology from UC Irvine, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their bachelor's degree, Ashley has also earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in April 2022. Along with the PMP certification, Ashley has completed a course in Chinese for Beginners on Coursera, although the specific details of when they obtained this certification are not provided.
