Josephine Scholten

Josephine Scholten, OD, currently serves as a Senior Medical Science Liaison at Dompé since November 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Novartis from March 2020 to December 2022, where Josephine held the positions of Associate Director and Medical Science Liaison in Ophthalmology. From December 2016 to March 2020, Josephine worked as a Clinical Research Optometrist at PRA Health Sciences, focusing on clinical trials related to contact lenses and ophthalmic medical devices. Previous optometry positions include practicing full-scope optometry at Peninsula Ophthalmology Group, and providing pre- and post-operative management at King LASIK. Josephine completed an O.D. degree at SUNY College of Optometry, graduating in 2013, and holds a B.S. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego, earned in 2007.
