Kyle Keating

Kyle Keating has a diverse work experience in the paper and timber industries. Kyle started their career in 2009 as a Procurement Forester at Lumber River Timber Co. In 2011, they interned at Domtar in the Pulp and Utilities department. The following year, they interned again at Domtar, this time in the Finished Products and Manufacturing department. In 2013, they gained experience as a Technical Sales Intern at Ashland Inc. Kyle returned to Domtar later that year as a Technical Specialist. In 2014, they took on the role of Owner/Operator at Summit Logging, LLC. Kyle rejoined Domtar in 2016, initially as a Technical Specialist before progressing to roles such as Finished Products Team Leader, Process Engineer, Wet End Lead, and Paper Machine Optimization Lead. Currently, they are serving as the Interim Paper Operations Lead at Domtar.

Kyle Keating pursued their education at North Carolina State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management from 2006 to 2010. Kyle furthered their studies at North Carolina State University and obtained another Bachelor of Science degree in Paper Science & Engineering from 2010 to 2013.
