Yvonne Feijoo

Yvonne Feijoo serves as the Deputy Fire Chief for Doña Ana County since November 2023 and is currently a Doctoral Student in Curriculum and Instruction at Barry University. As an Ops Fire College Instructor for the State of Florida, Yvonne facilitates fire service course delivery in accordance with state requirements. Yvonne is the founder and Training Director of Life Safety Ed, modernizing life safety education and delivering pre-certification and continuing education courses. Prior roles include Retired FI/EMS Quality Management at the Broward Sheriff's Office, where Yvonne assessed EMS responses, and various emergency management and public information positions with the City of Hallandale Beach. Yvonne's extensive experience in fire science and emergency medical services is supported by multiple degrees and certifications, including a Master of Public Administration and numerous fire service qualifications.
