Brent Nelson

Brent Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Brent is currently serving as the Director of Global Product Management - Industrial Services and Aftermarket at Donaldson since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Development Manager and Global Product Owner, Connected Solutions at Donaldson from February 2018 to January 2023.

Before joining Donaldson, Brent worked at Digi International as a Senior Product Manager for emerging IoT products from November 2012 to February 2018. At CalAmp Corp., they held the position of Product Manager in the Industrial Monitoring and Control Division, focusing on increasing revenue and market share in the Smart Grid Utility Markets from August 2011 to November 2012. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Electrical Engineer at CalAmp, leading electrical design projects for mobile and fixed cellular routers and designing embedded firmware and hardware for Zigbee Modules.

Earlier in their career, Brent worked at General Dynamics as a Principal Electrical Engineer from January 2002 to December 2006, and at Cardiac Science and Honeywell as an Electrical Engineer Intern and Engineering Intern, respectively.

Brent Nelson attended the University of Minnesota from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
