Aftab Hussain

Aftab Hussain is an experienced engineering educator currently serving as an Engineering Lecturer and Study Programme Lead for T-Levels at Kirklees College since August 2021. In addition, Aftab is a Subject Matter Expert with City & Guilds, focusing on the creation of Engineering OTQ SmartScreen resources, and has fulfilled the role of STEM Ambassador with STEM Ambassadors since February 2024. Recent positions also include serving as an Access to HE Engineering Assessor at Doncaster College and a Summer Intern at the Institute of Space Technology. Aftab previously lectured in engineering at Wakefield College and Leeds City College and held positions in design engineering and campus security. Aftab's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Satellite Systems Engineering from the University of Bradford and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Teesside University, along with various other qualifications in education and engineering.
