Nikolaj Sundbo

Nikolaj Sundbo has extensive work experience in the energy and environmental sectors. Nikolaj is currently the Head of Technical Project Management NA at Ørsted since September 2021. Prior to this, they held various positions at DONG Energy, including Head of the business area Power Projects and Project Director. Nikolaj was also the Manager of the department "Project Support" and a Project Engineer. Before joining DONG Energy, Nikolaj worked as a Sales and project development engineer at Bionord A/S. Nikolaj started their career as an Engineer at Jord Miljø A/S, where they later became a Project Manager. Nikolaj'sresponsibilities at Jord Miljø A/S included environmental investigations and clean-ups, as well as project management for the clean-up of specific areas.

Nikolaj Sundbo completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Engineering at the DTU - Technical University of Denmark, from 1991 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Management Accounting and Process Management at the Copenhagen Business School, from 1998 to 2000.
