Joe (he/him) leads Digital & Growth Marketing, the team responsible for scaling and maintaining our marketing systems, and for growing and retaining our community of teachers and donors through digital channels. His team specializes in leveraging email, sms, and paid media to drive meaningful engagement across the full spectrum of DonorsChoose supporters.
Prior to joining, Joe was directing digital campaigns for the ACLU on the most pressing civil liberties issues, and has spent over 20 years leading digital and direct marketing programs in the nonprofit space for a range of missions. Outside of work, Joe's in the streets skateboarding, at the record store digging for jazz and hip hop vinyl, traveling whenever possible, and taking time to rest
