Lead User Experience Researcher at DonorsChoose

Josh R. has a diverse work experience in UX research and coordination roles. Josh began their career as a Research Assistant at The New School for Social Research in 2009 and then worked as a Coordinator at The New School's University Learning Center from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, they joined the User Experience Center at Bentley University as a Research Associate before transitioning to freelance work as a User Experience Researcher in 2016. From 2016 to 2017, Josh worked as a UX Research Specialist at TD Ameritrade, where they led research activities for internal and client-facing projects, with a focus on mobile websites and apps. Most recently, they held roles at DonorsChoose, starting as a User Experience Researcher from 2017 to 2019 before being promoted to Lead User Experience Researcher in February 2019.

Josh R. obtained a Master's Degree in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley University - McCallum Graduate School of Business in the year 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at The New School, which they attended from 2006 to 2010.
