Bill Tedesco

Bill Tedesco is the founder and CEO of DonorSearch. Prior to starting DonorSearch, Bill was the CEO and minority owner of WealthEngine, a company they helped grow from 2000 to 2007. Bill also served as board member and president of APRA-Maryland from 2009 to 2011. Before that, they were executive vice president at Target America from 1996 to 2000.

Bill began their career in development, first as a development officer at the University of Maryland School of Medicine from 1995 to 1996, and then as director of development at the Fund for Educational Excellence from 1989 to 1993. In 1983, they began working in sales at NCR Corporation, where they eventually became a major account salesperson, specializing in computer system sales to state government agencies and large companies.

Throughout their career, Bill has been an effective leader and motivator, with a proven track record of success in both the private and nonprofit sectors. Bill is a strategic thinker who is always looking for new ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Bill is a strong advocate for the use of data and technology in the nonprofit sector, and they are passionate about helping nonprofits achieve their goals.

Bill Tedesco has a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from Penn State University and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the same school.
