Alberto Martinez has a diverse work experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Alberto is currently working at Doofinder as a Team Leader and Senior Software Engineer, where they manage a 10-developer team, handles task management, mentoring, and tech recruitment. Prior to this, they worked at Airbus Defence and Space as a Software Engineer, focusing on the modeling of aircraft systems and architecture for flight simulators. Alberto also gained experience in the Software Development Life Cycle and an international environment. Alberto was a Software Engineer at TECNOBIT, where they were responsible for designing and creating systems architecture for SIMAF (Fire Support Simulator) and contributed to UAV and Artificial Intelligence models. Before that, they were an Embedded Software Engineer at SEPSA, working on real-time embedded software for Train Event Recorders and following safety systems life cycle processes. Alberto's career started at CESyA as a Researcher, where they designed and constructed a cinema subtitling system for the deaf and worked on real-time subtitling projects.

Alberto Martinez obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, which they completed by 2009. In addition to their degree, they hold several certifications including the SPL Sailplane Pilot License (Gliding) from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, obtained in December 2011. Alberto also obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification and the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in April 2018.
