Praveen Kolli

Praveen Kolli is an accomplished machine learning engineer with extensive experience across prominent tech companies. Currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at DoorDash since April 2023, Praveen previously held the role of Technical Lead in Ads Ranking at Pinterest from March 2021 to March 2023, where responsibilities included leading a cross-functional team to launch a new Ads product focused on optimizing campaigns for outbound clicks. Prior to that, Praveen worked at Houzz, developing a machine learning model for predicting conversion rates, and contributed as a Summer Associate in the Fx Algo Trading team at Barclays, where machine learning models were created to forecast bid-ask prices. Early career experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Cisco Systems. Praveen holds a Ph.D. in Probability Theory from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master's in Financial Mathematics from Columbia University, and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
