Ed. D Gabriela Matos

Gabriela Matos, Ed. D, serves as a Dual Enrollment Education Professor at Florida International University since August 2022, teaching high school students in the Intro to Education and Diverse Populations classes. With over 10 years of experience as an English Teacher at Mater Academy, Inc., Gabriela holds five areas of Florida State certification and has been recognized as a Highly Effective Teacher and Middle School Teacher of the Year. Gabriela is a Springboard Certified Trainer from the College Board and excels in creating engaging, differentiated, STEAM-based lessons for diverse classrooms, including ESOL and students with learning disabilities. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Southeastern University, a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from Liberty University, and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Florida International University.
