Sargon Oraha

Sargon Oraha has extensive experience in protection program management and grants administration, currently serving as Protection and Grants Manager at Dorcas since August 2018, after holding various roles within the organization. Prior experience includes working as a Protection Associate at UNHCR, Child Protection & Livelihoods Project Officer at War Child UK, and Senior GBV Program Officer at International Medical Corps. Sargon began professional career in finance as an Accountant at SABIS Educational Systems, Inc., and has also worked as an Auditor and English Teacher. Sargon holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from Baghdad University, earned between 2002 and 2006.
