Melissa Heinen

Melissa Heinen is a researcher at Dorf Ketal since March 2019, focusing on the development of new products. Prior to this role, Melissa served as a postdoctoral researcher at Universität Tübingen from July 2018 to February 2019. Melissa completed a Ph.D. in the Graduate Program in Materials Science at UFRGS, where the dissertation concentrated on anticorrosive coatings based on phosphorylated vegetable polyols, from May 2014 to June 2018. Earlier education includes a Master's degree in Materials Science, specializing in Polymer Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, earned between 2010 and 2013, and a degree in Industrial Chemistry with a focus on Oleochemistry from Universidade de Santa Cruz do Sul, completed from 1998 to 2005.
