Benedetta Di Robilant

Benedetta Di Robilant has a diverse work experience in the field of biology and medicine. Benedetta started their career in 2009 with an internship at Genentech, where they worked in the Division of Tumor Biology and Angiogenesis. In 2012, they joined Stanford University School of Medicine as a Visiting PhD Student, focusing on Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine. Benedetta continued their research at Stanford as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2015 to 2018.

In 2018, Benedetta co-founded Dorian Therapeutics and also served as the Chief Science Officer. Benedetta played a critical role in establishing the company's vision and strategy.

In addition, Benedetta has participated in various entrepreneurship programs. Benedetta was a member of the S18 Bio Program at Y Combinator in 2018 and a member of StartX in 2019, contributing their expertise in the field of biology to these organizations.

Benedetta Di Robilant completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Libera Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele from 2006 to 2009. Benedetta then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Medical, Molecular and Cellular Biology from the same institution from 2009 to 2011. Following that, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Medicine, Basic and Applied Immunology from Libera Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele, studying there from 2012 to 2015. Lastly, they completed a PostDoctoral Fellowship in Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine from 2015 to 2018.
