Kia Uusitalo

Kia Uusitalo is the current Head of Social at Dorm Room Fund, and has previously worked as a Venture Analyst Intern at Plug and Play Tech Center, a Teaching Assistant at Brown University, and a Growth Intern at Icebreaker.vc. Kia has also served as Co-Managing Director at Van Wickle Ventures, and as a Fulbright Scholar with The Fulbright Program.

Kia Uusitalo attended Brown University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Modern Culture & Media, with an Entrepreneurship (Minor Equiv.). Kia also took some coursework at the Rhode Island School of Design. Kia is originally from Finland, and attended the Helsingin Suomalainen Yhteiskoulu.

Their manager is Molly Fowler, CEO. Kia Uusitalo works with Andrew Xu - Editor in Chief, Tom Zhang - Co-Head of Engineering, and Britney Zhang - Head of Marketing and Communications.
