Christopher Sparg

Christopher Sparg has extensive experience in the marine and engineering sectors. Since 2004, Christopher has served as Managing Director at Dormac Marine and Engineering, overseeing five major shipyards across Southern Africa, and has held the same position at the South African Institute of Marine Engineers and Architects (SAIMENA). Additionally, Christopher was Chairman of the South African Association of Shipbuilders and Repairers from 2012 to 2013. Previous roles include General Manager at DCD-Dorbyl Marine, Divisional Marketing and Commercial Manager at Kraatz Marine, and Director positions at both Nautilus Marine and RSD Dorbyl. Christopher began a career in business development with RSD Dorbyl, focusing on General Electric locomotives and managed significant projects, including the production of rail cars in Ghana. Christopher holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, completed in 1990.
