Urs Rotzler

Urs Rotzler has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 1992, they worked as a Risk Analysis in Correspondent Banking at Swiss Bank Corporation (now UBS). Urs then joined Ciba in 1993, where they held various roles including Project Leader, Head of Supply Chain Services, Head of Global Competence Center, and HR Business Partner. In 2008, they moved to BASF as the Head of Sourcing and Vendor Management for Global Information Systems of Ciba. From 2010 to 2015, Urs worked at BT Switzerland Limited as an Account Director, responsible for developing and implementing account strategies and generating new business. In 2015, they joined SI Group as the Senior Director for Supply Chain EMEA and later became the Senior Director of Global Customer Service and Procurement. Most recently, in 2021, Urs became the Lead IT Business Relationship Management at dormakaba. Throughout their career, they have managed teams, overseen sales and purchasing operations, and delivered high-quality business support.

Urs Rotzler obtained a Lic.rer.pol. degree in Business Administration & Economics from the University of Basel between 1986 and 1992. Prior to that, they completed their Matura in the Mathematical & Science stream at Gymnasium Muttenz from 1982 to 1985. In 2007 and 2008, Urs pursued a postgraduate certificate in 'Psychology of Organizational Development & Change' at Heriot-Watt University in the UK. Lastly, in 2017 and 2018, they acquired a certification as a Certified Supply Chain Professional from APICS.
