Vice President Distribution - Light Duty at Dorman Products

Jamie Johnson, MBA has a varied work experience spanning over two decades. Starting their career in the military, Jamie served as an Administrative Supervisor in the United States Marine Corps from 1995 to 1999. They then transitioned to the United States Air Force, where they held the position of Staff Sergeant - Craftsman Electrician from 2000 to 2004.

After completing their military service, Jamie joined Dorman Products in 2004. They worked their way up through the ranks, starting as a Senior Supervisor and later becoming a Distribution Manager. In 2011, Jamie was promoted to Director of Operations, where they successfully turned around the worst performing Distribution Department into the best performing one within the company. They directed the operation through a significant 62% growth rate over the course of three years.

In 2014, Jamie assumed the role of Vice Presidents of Operations/Sr. Director at Dorman Products. In this position, they served as a multi-facility leader and were responsible for refining the Leader Development Program. They also directed the site implementation strategy of an SAP implementation and successfully navigated the site through a challenging shift in customer order profile. Jamie implemented the Lean Acceleration Program, created a culture of standard work and continuous improvement, and achieved a 67% reduction in customer claims within nine months. They also demonstrated a solid track record of achieving aggressive financial targets.

Most recently, Jamie holds the title of Vice President Distribution - Light Duty at Dorman Products, a position they have held since October 2021.

Jamie Johnson, MBA earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix in 2019, with a focus on Business Administration and Management. In 2013, they completed the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, specializing in High Potential Leadership. Prior to that, Jamie obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2003.
