Jan Tomis

Jan Tomis has extensive experience in the machining industry, currently serving as a Product Owner for Indexable Turning at DormerPramet since October 2023. Prior to this role, Jan held various positions at Dormer Pramet from July 2005, including Product Manager for Parting-off & Grooving, R&D Development Engineer for Turning/Grooving and Parting off, and R&D Design Tool Centre, specializing in the design of press tools, inserts, and tool holders for parting off and grooving operations. Jan holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology - Machining from Brno University of Technology and previously studied at VOŠ a SPŠ Šupmerk from 1995 to 1999.
