Billy Francis

Billy Francis has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Billy currently works as a Commercial Risk Manager at VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd since May 2021. Prior to that, they held various roles at Dornier Consulting International GmbH, including Head of Contracts and Senior Contracts & Claims Manager. From 2013 to 2018, Billy worked at Hill International, Inc. as a Contracts & Commercial Manager and Senior Commercial & Contracts Administrator. Billy also has experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor at VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd and Carillion Plc. Billy began their career as a Quantity Surveyor at HOCHTIEF (UK) Construction Ltd and NORWEST HOLST CONSTRUCTION LIMITED, and as a Trainee & Assistant Quantity Surveyor at Geoffrey Osborne Civil Engineering.

Billy Francis holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Westminster. Billy also obtained a Higher National Certificate in Building Studies & Quantity Surveying from the University of Greenwich. Prior to that, they completed a General National Vocational Qualification in Business Studies at Langley Park School for Boys.

In terms of certifications, Billy is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, which they obtained in August 2020. Billy also acquired a certification in Claims Preparation & Dispute Management from the College of Contract Management United Kingdom in July 2020. Additionally, Billy has an ongoing pursuit of the RICS (APC) certification from the Royal Institution for Chartered Surveyors.
